Where are we all? If I’m in front of my computer; in the living room; in my house; in Roxboro; in Person County; in North Carolina; in the United States; in North America; on Earth; in the Solar System; in the Milky Way; in the Galaxy; in the Universe. Then, just where is the Universe? Where are we all?
I am a descendent of the Confederacy. I have many relatives who either fought or were part of the Confederacy during the Civil War. Robert Grahm Scott fought at the battle of Bull Run, Antieum, many small battles, and Gettysburg. He died on the last day of the battle, July 3rd, on Cemetery Hill, right at the wall. Also, Jacob Thompson. He was a spy during the Confederacy, and Secretary of State. Many other of my relatives were part of the Civil War. I still try to keep alive the ways of the old south, in my own ways.
I like most any type of music. My favorite artist right now is DIDO. She is GOOD. Every song ive herd her do is great.
I really like preserving historic things. Or restoring old things. Im trying to clean up my 5 \$ 6 Great Grandfather's graveyard. It is a lot of work, but its worth it to me. I love old tobacco barns. They are neat. Thats why Im so glad there are about 20-30 around where I live. All within a 3 mile radius of my house! I think that most old things are better than what we have nowadays. Like the old boats of the 50’s. They have more class and are more streamlined than the ones now. I have a 1958 Racing boat, and its the nicest boat I’ve ever seen. Old cars and trucks look better than most of the new ones now. I like Ford. I like the older Fords better than the new ones. The ones from the 1940’s; early 1960’s; 1970’s; and mid-90’s look better than the new ones!
My Yammie 3 wheeler is 16 years old this year. That is OLD! I have had it since July last year, and have never had any real problems. My friends 4 wheelers are brand new; they have ripped the transmission out, blown the engine, messed up the carb, or just totally screwed it up BAD! But still, mine hasn’t messed up. I ride that thing every day almost....take it through EVERYTHING.....and still it don’t give out on me! It has one STRONG 30HP engine in it! One of YAMAHA’s best! I’ll race anyone anyday. Light frame, powerful engine=beat you! Her name is Shurely, and she’ll surely beat you doing anything.
